Joseph R. DeMatteo
Joseph DeMatteo has more than 20 years of experience practicing criminal and civil law with an emphasis on trial practice. While a high-ranking prosecutor in the Manhattan district attorney’s office, he tried more than 30 cases before juries, conducted several long-term investigations, presented hundreds of cases to the grand jury and conducted several hearings. As a criminal defense practitioner for the past 12 years, he has represented hundreds of clients facing criminal investigation and prosecution and has tried several cases in both federal and state court.
