Civil Litigation
We have a number of specialties and sub-specialties. Broadly, we represent both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial, healthcare, and matrimonial matters. We have developed a sub-specialty in both defending and prosecuting matters involving fraud, especially under the RICO act. We also have a sub-specialty in representing doctors and health care providers with respect to a variety of issues. Additionally, we have developed a sub-specialty in the employment law field, where we represent highly compensated individuals who have been, or are about to be, fired and who are seeking a maximum post-termination pay out. Much of our experience in this area involves foreign citizens working in New York State, in cases where the law of the foreign country is to be applied.
